It's something we all learned to do at the age of 4. We might not have been very good at it, but it was probably the first chore that was expected of us. Every morning, before starting our day, we had to make our beds. It didn't have to be perfect, with hospital corners, fluffed pillows and sheets so tight we could bounce a quarter off of them, it just had to be "put together".
This is a chore that should be carried on throughout life. Making your bed in the morning is saying to yourself "I'm ready to start my day, I've got order, intention and pride". Making your bed tells you that even the little things in life matter.
As Navy Seal Admiral McRaven explains "If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed".
This short clip will inspire you to do this one small task every morning. Enjoy!
